Now as to the antler points.Were they kept in the round and a hollow bore out for dart insertion?If so it would be a great bond with animal glues and I wish to try it.

Thimosabv:A single bevel was the simpliest method for the Ice Agers to set their points on their darts. With some sinew loops, it's very strong. Try it.Single bevel point

My carving method? I made so many reindeer antler atlatls that I was forced (tendonitis) to use a Dremel and a belt sander tool instead of flint tools.
